Linda Jacob

Linda Jacob has been teaching Pilates for over a decade and loving Pilates for 25 years. While in Professional Dance School she had her first Pilates class and instantly loved it. It stayed an important part of her life, and in her younger years would teach it to friends. Once before moving to Mexico so a friend would help her learn a little Spanish, and later in Barcelona to another friend as part of her rent. When she moved back to Winnipeg she knew this was her passion and what she wanted to do full time. Linda is STOTT Pilates certified and loves using all the equipment and props to keep her classes fun and challenging. She is also TRX Certified which compliments the Pilates work nicely.

Destiny Malloy

Destiny Malloy was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She started dancing at the age of 3 and her passion for ballet led her into the professional Training Program at the National Ballet of Canada as well as with Johanna Hilchie Ballet. At the age of 13 she moved to Winnipeg to continue with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. During her second year in the Anna McCowaqn-Johnson Program while healing from an injury Destiny began cross training at Pilates downtown, and discovered a new passion in Pilates.

Destiny has taken her Reformer training and Mat training here in Winnipeg with Monique Lavoie. Her dance training & understanding of the kinetic movement in the body enhances and influences her teaching style. As she continues her journey with Pilates, she hopes to share her passion and foster a love for Pilates in her students.

Amanda Green

Amanda Green has a long history as a celebrated artist. After gracing the stage for 13 years with passion, dedication and creativity, Green earned her way to Principal Dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.  Leaving home at a young age to pursue a dance career Green understands the importance of strength and stability and turned to Monique Lavoie for a Pilates base to better her dancing skills.

A career shift came into play in recent years after suffering a devastating hip injury, which left her unable to continue dancing. While sadly her stage career had come to an end, she saw an incredible opportunity with Pilates.  Teaching gives her a chance to utilise her determination, knowledge and passion to educate clients to better themselves and prevent injury.

In addition to teaching Pilates, Green has recently started her own endeavour- Melt Chocolate Company.  She provides a beautifully executed, artistic approach to chocolate that always leaves you wanting more.
